The Day my Baby Thought He was Going to DIE!
I know I am a little partial but I think Jack is the cutest, smartest, most grown up baby around! This being said – I didn't think it would be a problem at all to send him to school over lunch while I went to a meeting. Don't worry the meeting was at school just upstairs from his class… When I told Jack in the car that he was going to get to go to school and play with other little guys he instantly started to Mommy, Mommy, Mommy. I reply Jack what is it and get, Mommy no, Mommy no. Nena, Nena, Nena, Lovie, Lovie, Lovie, Mimi, Mimi, Mimi and concluding with Coco?, Coco?. This should show you how desperate this little guy is getting. I tell him all will be fine and we take off to find more little diaper clad people. When we walk into the class Jack cuts his eyes at everyone there. I give him unhappily to the teacher who takes him after I promise her he is really a good little boy and he will be no problem. I take two steps and he starts to SCREAM! I keep walking thinking it will stop soon I'm sure. I close the door and stand there to watch (I want to watch him but I don't want him to see me). I watch and I watch and I watch – he screams, he screams and he screams! This poor teacher – Not only is Jack screaming but he causes a little girl to start crying for her mommy and before I know it there are 6 little people calling for their mommies! I can't take it any longer. I go in and get him – I think I heard the lady calling me several bad words as I apologize for my perfect Jackie - - - As I'm leaving I still hear crying but this time I don't stick around – I don't think I want to know how long it took for that little class to get back to normal. On the up side – Jack tired himself out so much screaming for me that he took an amazing nap!
Too Cute Huh? I thought so too…
Then again - why would you want to go to school when you could do this all day instead?
